We operate a worldwide service. Communications with us can be flexible and we are happy to receive emails, have telephone or skype consultations, or face-to-face meetings. We do not accept office appointments without prior arrangement. We normally respond to all enquiries within 24 hours.

PRIVACY STATEMENT AND COMPLIANCE WITH GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION “GDPR”

Data holder

Air & Space Evidence complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (the "GDPR"). For the purposes of the GDPR, Air & Space Evidence is the data controller and sole owner of the personal data collected by the company.

Data that we hold

At Air & Space Evidence Ltd we hold very limited amounts of data. In the vast majority of cases this consists in the form of: names, titles (e.g. professor), business addresses, e-mail and telephone numbers – for which we might use for occasional one-to-one correspondence.

We might also very occasionally use this data for limited marketing purposes:

·      Newsletter. Sent no more than once a year.

·      Workshop and webinar invitations. We occasionally organise specialist events and might invite limited numbers of people working in that field that we think will have a definite interest in attending. We anticipate not organising more than two events a year.

Because we are a research based organisation we might at various times also hold:

  • Delegate lists from workshops/webinars that we organise.
  • Documentation from external workshop/conferences that we have attended including: lists of speakers, list of attendees, profiles of speakers, abstracts of presentations, presentation/event speech transcripts and pictures. 
  • Published research papers.
  • Transcripts of one-to-one meetings.
  • Questionnaire/Survey returns.
  • CVs

We base any contacts with you (as described above) on your giving your consent to that, which you can of course withdraw at any time. We follow all the GDPR principles on processing of personal data, and will not keep even our limited personal data any longer than is necessary,  and will regularly review it.

 Passing on data

We will not under any circumstances share any of your data with third parties without prior permission.

Uses of data

 Our website is hosted by Squarespace, and their terms for providing that service are here.  Their servers are in the USA, and we understand that  exchange of information with the USA will be covered by the EU/US Privacy Shield, details of which are here.

When visiting our Squarespace web pages, tracking technologies operated by Squarespace may record information about your visit automatically. This information is not used by Air & Space Evidence and does not identify you personally.

Uses of cookies

 Our site uses cookies.

How we use cookies: Cookies are very small text files that are stored on your computer when you visit some websites. We use cookies to help identify your computer so we can tailor your user experience. You can disable any cookies already stored on your computer, but these may stop our website from functioning properly.

This website will: Allow you to share pages with social networks such as Facebook (If available)

This website will not: Share any personal information with third parties.

Transmission of data: The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure, any transmission is at your own risk.

Security

We take the security of your information very seriously and your data will be stored securely.

We will change our passwords on a regular basis.  

Only people with an explicit need to have access to data will continue to do so.

We have a security aware culture. Sensitive material that we have generated has been consolidated into one secure online location, and to a single PC drive belonging to the company (which is backed up by an external storage device operated by the Company). Where appropriate this information will be encrypted.

If there is a suspected personal data breach we will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

Access to Data and Unsubscribe

 The GDPR gives you the right to access details that we hold about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the GDPR.

If you would prefer not to be contacted by us for any reason, please contact us on the email above and we will delete your data and not send you any further communications.
